I don't 'identify' as a transgender person. I AM a transgender person.

'trans-identified' is a phrase used solely by transphobes. It is not how we refer to ourselves. There are few phrases that I would generalise so about. My community is forever evolving it's language to maintain the broadest inclusivity. And that evolution continues at a rapid pace.

But that phrasing, in particular, is the parlance only of bigots. And that is not something you get to dispute, discuss, or debate. You listen or you don't. If that is company you're happy to keep, so be it. Maybe just be honest about it.

Your tone throughout has shown zero willingness to engage with trans voices on the matter of our own lives.

The word for that is oppression.

That you maintain, nay double down, on your stance speaks volumes.
