If you genuinely don't know, then the most generous thing I could say would be to quietly back out of commenting on anything to do with trans people.

That's is, if I give you the benefit of the doubt that you really didn't know wou were deploying a transphobic dog whistle: 'trans-identified'. Just. Don't. Instead, go educate yourself. Then maybe LISTEN to some trans people. And then consider that you've only taken your first, faltering steps on the road to having anything to say to, or about us.

On the other hand, if you were aware that it's a transphobic dog whistle then I've still got a whole bag of inventive invectives...
