I've pondered this at length, Suzanna. I wrote a piece last year about the attacks I, myself, suffered during Pride month. I think we're at a point where we may have to engage in civil disobedience just as POC did in the 60s.
I've already been standing up and speaking out, most recently in Manchester to protest the exclusion of trans people from a proposed ban on conversion therapy.
We can no longer afford silence.
