Women often DON'T share biology. There are women born with a uterus. There are women who have XY chromosomes.
I have female breasts. My hormonal profile is more female than other women my age.
Where are the lines drawn and who draws them? You? Hell no.
I'm a woman. I'm a tall-ish woman. I'm an articulate woman. I'm a loud woman. I'm a gay woman. I'm a creative woman.
And I'm a trans woman.
But that latter does NOT disqualify all the ways in which I am categorised a woman.
You were so careful to not tread on landmines in your piece. Or so you thought. But even here in the comments you double down on denying the lived experience of myself and countless other women, determined as you are to other us. That and your lack of anything to say about trans men or non-binary people lays your prejudice painfully bare.
I don't say that to hurt but to try to make you aware. You really do not know what you're talking about.
I don't blame you. It's just you've fallen for the loudest narrative, hook, line, and sinker.
